League City Charter Chapter Of ABWA To Spotlight Cross-Cultural Communication At June 19th Meeting

ABWA logo The American Business Women's Association, League City Charter Chapter, will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, June 19, at South Shore Harbour Country Club.  Networking begins at 6:30.

Pat Cuchens, of Professional Writing Resources, will conduct a workshop on cross-cultural communication skills.  Knowing that employers value employees who can write and speak effectively, especially in the growing global economy, she will present a fun program for members and guests.

The American Business Women's Association, League City Charter Chapter, is a group of career-minded professionals who support the goals of the organization.  ABWA's mission is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.

The League City Charter Chapter meets on the 3rd Thursday of every month at the South Shore Harbour Country Club at 4300 South Shore Blvd, in League City, TX, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Swim Lessons Offered By Poseidon Pools

Poseidon Pools will be offering morning swim lessons at the Pineloch swimming pools.  Classes begin in June.  Below is a list of class levels and times.

Bay Knoll Pool 10:00 a.m. Level 3 Level 4 Level 3 Level 3
Oak Chase Pool 10:30 a.m. Level 2 Level 3 Level 2 Level 2
Mabry Mill Pool   11:00 a.m. Level 1 Level 1 Toddler Level 1

Classes will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.  The cost for each session is $70.  A full group session runs for eight days.  Each class is 30 minutes.  If there are not enough students to fill a class, the following will be offered:

An all-white female Husky who answers to the name "Sadie" is missing as of Tuesday morning from Thornwood Lane in Bay Glen.  Anyone with any information can call Bill at 713-443-6457.
